Privacy Policy

The short version

AmzBlade is an Amazon market research service that delivers reports by email and download. Our reports are used by Amazon sellers, affiliate marketers, bloggers and product reviewers, dropshippers, and e-commerce researchers. We collect only what we need to deliver those reports and keep you informed — primarily an email address. We do not sell or share your data with third parties, and we run no advertising cookies. We do use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used — but only if you accept it in the cookie banner. Decline and no analytics cookies are set.

What we collect

• Email address — when you request a free sample report or buy a paid report. We use it to deliver the report, respond to your order, and occasionally inform you about new reports or updates (see "How we use it" below).
• Amazon search link you submit — when you ask us to analyse a market. We use that link only to produce the requested report; we don't share it.
• Payment information — for paid reports only. Payments are processed by Gumroad. We never see or store your card number. We receive only the confirmation of payment plus the name and email Gumroad provides.
• Standard server logs — like most websites, our hosting provider may keep anonymised logs (IP address, user-agent, timestamps) for security and reliability. We do not use these to identify individual visitors.

How we use it

• To produce and email you the report you requested (free or paid).
• To respond to your support questions when you contact us.
• To send occasional updates about new reports or services. By submitting your email — whether to request a free sample, purchase a report, or contact us — you agree that we may contact you for this purpose. To unsubscribe, simply reply to any email asking to be removed — we'll action it immediately.
• To prevent abuse — for example, enforcing the one-per-address limit on the free sample report.

What we don't do

• We do not sell or rent your data to anyone.
• We do not share your email or submitted links with any party beyond the small list of service providers needed to operate (see below).
• We do not use advertising or retargeting cookies.
• We do not build profiles, infer demographics, or do behavioural analysis. We use Google Analytics (only with your consent) for aggregate visitor statistics, not to identify or profile you individually.

Service providers we rely on

• Gumroad — processes payments for paid reports and delivers the downloadable files. Gumroad acts as merchant of record, including for sales tax/VAT. Card details are handled entirely on their secure systems; see Gumroad's own privacy policy.
• Firebase Hosting (Google) — hosts this website. Anonymised request logs may apply.
• Google Analytics (Google) — measures aggregate site usage (pages viewed, rough visitor numbers), but only after you accept analytics cookies. We use it to improve the site, not to identify you. Governed by Google's privacy policy.
• Email — we send and receive report emails through info@amzblade.com.

These providers process limited data on our behalf, under their own privacy policies and contractual safeguards.

Cookies

Beyond the cookies strictly required to function (if any), the only cookies we use are Google Analytics cookies — and those are set only if you click "Accept" in the cookie banner shown on your first visit. If you decline (or ignore the banner), no analytics cookies are set. You can change your mind at any time by clearing your browser storage for this site, which brings the banner back. We do not use advertising, retargeting or other tracking cookies. Third-party services we link to (Gumroad, etc.) may set their own cookies when you visit them; those are governed by their own policies.

Your rights

You can ask us at any time to:

• Confirm what data we hold about you (typically just your email).
• Correct or update that data.
• Delete your email and any associated request data from our records — except where we are required to keep it (e.g., transaction records for accounting/tax).
• Stop receiving updates from us — reply to any email asking to be removed and we'll action it immediately.

To exercise any of these rights, email info@amzblade.com. We'll respond within a reasonable time, and usually within 30 days.

Data retention

We keep your email until you ask us to remove it. If you have never purchased a report and we have had no contact with you for an extended period (approximately 24 months), we may remove your email from our records at our discretion. Transaction records associated with paid reports may be kept for as long as required by law (typically up to 10 years for accounting).

Children

AmzBlade is intended for adults and businesses. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16. If you believe a minor has provided us their data, please contact us and we will delete it.

International data transfers

AmzBlade is operated independently. Data you provide may be processed by our service providers in countries other than your own, under their own data-protection safeguards. By using the service, you understand that your data may be processed accordingly.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always on this page; material changes will be flagged at the top with a new "Last updated" date.
